Hello all, I have been watching, reading and researching for some time now and I have decided it was time to jump in and start building the ole green machine. I'm hoping to keep this thread alive with as many both large and small updates as possible and recieve pointers and how to's. I'm very much a DIYer when i can. My main drive behind this build besides my love for the outdoors is my 9month old son. Let's get to it
Here is the star of the show

First I started with much needed head/taillight update. Along with a locking tailgate

Then I got a roll up tonneau cover from gator.

Now comes the fun part. As I mentioned I love to diy what I can so I came up with a design for a bed rack and started to let the sparks fly

I purchased an ironman 4x4 soft cover rtt with the annex

Next plan is building some custom rock Sliders. I have few designs I'm playing with at the moment.

Nice tent! I bought a slightly smaller one as my first one where the tent doesn't cover the ladder completely. As such, my annex is only underneath the tent and the ladder is outside. It makes it close to useless in inclement weather.

I was afraid of that same thing but I'm pleased it doesn't. Now to go give it a test run. Hoping to head out this weekend for atleast a night.
