What started out life as a next to base model tacoma that came to me in October of 2012 has quickly become a learning experience, as well as a patient teacher for me. Bought it out of Colorado when I moved home from California in late 2012 and it stayed stock for a good while. I'd always has a truck, and this one just felt right. Moved to utah at the end of 2012 and fell into a job at a dealer and met a couple off road guys that started it all. As a poor college kid, the build is slow paced. But here's where I'm at.

I started with the suspension in 2014 when I moved back to utah from a summer in alaska.
Bilstein 5150s paired with toytec coils in the front and spc upper control arms and a 3/4" diff drop in the front

Bilstein 5100s with add a leaf in the rear

Pretty basic, I know, and I have long travel plans within a few years.

Then an accident in a Walmart parking lot left me with a sizable check. So I ended up with an addicted off road tube bumper, rough country 6led pods and a smittybuilt 9.5 xrc winch, along with general grabbers. 33x10.5

Then I found overlanding. So I searched and found a guy out of Heber ut, who has the bed rack for sale which I picked up on the cheap!! He was a cool guy, he said rocks were too expensive so he gave me this one for a hundred bucks. So we snatched it up really quick. Which I used for Longboards more than anything until we got our tepui tent.

Since we added the tepui tent in July of this year, we have an added very much to the truck. We've been busy with two other project vehicles that we have. But we do have future plans including Relentless Fab rear bumper with Swing Out tire carrier, I would like to add an Annex to a rooftop tent here pretty soon, we would like to add Rock sliders and a full belly skid, we would like to add an e-Locker to the rear, and a few other goodies as money permits.

It's not as built up as we would like it to be or as some people have theirs. But we take it out and we enjoy where we are fortunate enough to have every opportunity that we get. And that's what it's about right?

Your rig is looking sweet. Nice pic. with the rainbow. I'm working on building my 98 daily driver. I like your rack, mine is an old ladder rack that is very heavy, but does the job.
