A bit late posting about this trip, but hopefully better late than never. We had three rigs attend and spent a long day travelling around the Mountain Loop Highway from Granite Falls to Darrington on a mix of pavement and forest service roads, then took some FS roads from Darrington over to Sedro-Woolley along with a couple of side trips exploring some spur roads along the way. While nothing was technical, there was some great scenery and plenty of opportunities for stops to have lunch, explore some water features, which were promptly and thoroughly tested by the trips mascot (Thank you Charlie for bringing your awesome pup along). Weather was fantastic and we were treated to a great view of Mt Baker as we descended off the last of the FS roads back to the highway.
@Hogman always great to travel with you, and
@parrotheadnw it was great to have you back off the open water and back on the trails. Look forward to our next adventure! Still plenty of time for everyone to hit some trails before the snow flies .... Then winter camping season starts:)
