Okay The time has come for me to make my first journey to Moab. I've made a reservation at Willow Campground for the night of May 14th. If all goes well, I'll be rolling in between 4 and 6 PM. I'd love to meet up with any locals that have the time to have a meal and talk rigs and overlanding.

Tiny bit confused, apologies in advance.

Is the meetup at Willard bay state Park, prior to you're departure for Moab?

I feel like that's what I'm seeing, but not sure . . . .
David,
Yes, I am traveling through town from North Idaho to Moab. I will be staying the night at Willard State Park and figured it would be more fun to meet some new people than spend the night alone. I'm meeting a friend down there and he might even be spending the night at the park with me. Then in the morning I/We'll be off to Moab.

Steve, I'd like to drop by for a bit. Anything you need while you're in town?
David,
I guess I'll know better if I need anything by noon on Saturday...lol
I'm planning on packing up and being "All set to go" but I will be miles from home at that point.

Anyone know of a good place for some good food for dinner? Figured I'd get some takeout and eat at the campground.
