US Southwest Moab pilgrimage overnight Meetup.

Okay The time has come for me to make my first journey to Moab. I've made a reservation at Willow Campground for the night of May 14th. If all goes well, I'll be rolling in between 4 and 6 PM. I'd love to meet up with any locals that have the time to have a meal and talk rigs and overlanding.

Yes, I am traveling through town from North Idaho to Moab. I will be staying the night at Willard State Park and figured it would be more fun to meet some new people than spend the night alone. I'm meeting a friend down there and he might even be spending the night at the park with me. Then in the morning I/We'll be off to Moab.

I'm planning on packing up and being "All set to go" but I will be miles from home at that point.

Anyone know of a good place for some good food for dinner? Figured I'd get some takeout and eat at the campground.

If you like Mexican, El Paisa is pretty good, and it's not too far off the freeway, about 15 minutes south of Willard Bay

I think the 4Runner is all set.
The frig is running at 25F and is filled with food.
I’m still planning on rolling shortly after 4am(5 mountain)
Hopefully there around 5
