Changing over to a telescopic ladder for my tent. Does anyone know if the stock brackets will work with the new ladder.

I did the same to my Overlander XL. I re-used the brackets from my slide ladder. Then had to re-drill holes in the tent frame because spacing between the ladder ends was not the same. Turned out great! I ended up with a longer ladder- 12ft. I did this for a couple reasons. First- with my set up, the original ladder wasn't long enough the reach the ground. Second- the slide ladder extender cost nearly as much as a telescoping ladder so I went that way. Note- I believe the telescoping ladder was rated for more weight than the slide ladder as well. I like having the extra reach.

I did this mod as well. The brackets worked, but the spacing is different, so you have re-drill the holes. I really like the new ladder better though. Also a bonus, I kept the same cover and so now there's a little bit more room where the old ladder would store and I keep the annex up there.
