2017 Jeep Trailhawk

Hello,
Overland Bound Community I just wanted to start a post for my Jeep Trailhawk that I will be starting to build up. I am new to off roading and 4x4ing, so I’m hoping that being a member of Overland Bound will help me learn and progress while meeting some great people along the way. Im open to any suggestion on what I should be looking to purchase first to start equipping my rig with the proper gear.

Welcome sir! My wife drives a 15 cherokee trailhawk, very capable vehicle. I was impressed what the Lil thing can do.

New to off roading/overlanding as well and currently I'm torn between this and a 4Runner for my first rig. Watching your thread to see how it goes.

I love my trail hawk, Ive put it in some questionable situations for 2017 and its done amazing. The only issue is the lack of mods available, the 4Runner will have way more aftermarket mod options. My rig is also my daily driver so Im not going to be doing anything to crazy. I just put a roof basket on and I plan on getting rock sliders and a grill/brush guard from RRO also just some light bars from my local 4x4 shop. Let me know if you have any questions about the Jeep.

Looking forward to seeing what you do. I'm outfitting a latitude, so a lot will be directly comparable for me. I haven't found anything yet it can't do other than bouldering down one road that was too difficult to even walk up.
