Doin all the things! Nice!
Yep it all started with the center bumper since i will have the bumper off anyway i decided to do the facelift all at once , then if its gonna look like a new truck i want it to feel like it too hence the pedal commander. And the armor has been needed for a while so may as well go there too.

Later this year i will also make some rear bed rocker bars and a skid for the rear diff and a few little things and it will be done with and ill be ready to go back to building my 02 ranger into a trophy truck.

This is going to be a good year. :sunglasses:
Well i had to sell one of my tractors for funds, the last 2 years have been pretty rough for farming. And wife just switched jobs last week after being furloughed. I sure hope it will be a good year but the ammount of rain were getting already isnt looking too good i may have to switch over to raising cows again.

Well midwest overland industries has screwed me they dont have any bumpers in stock and arent saying when they will have more. Ruined my day and my plans. Now ive got to find something else.

Edit i called em and they have the powdercoated ones in stock so i guess ill just have to pay the extra 175 to get what i want. The raw ones wont be back until all the powdercoated ones are sold so it would have been a while if i want a raw one. I looked at the go fab thats near 200 bucks more for raw but i havent seen too many folks using them.

Double edit: i looked into the go fab bumper and i see why its not as popular. They say over 10k winch may not fit thats a no go for me mines a 13k and the recovery points are smaller. I like the bull bar option but i can make my own stinger for the moi bumper for less than $100 extra. And the 20 inch led set up on them would be useless for me id have to cut off my led headlights just for that to be usefull at night.

I ran the PC for about a year, it really helps the drivability of the truck. I then installed the Trifecta Tune, it's a game changer, the improvements in the trans shifting makes it worth the price alone. You also get a boost in HP and TQ in Perf mode or you can choose ECO mode for mileage. A year later I installed 4.10 gears and saw another major drivability improvement. Whole different animal tuned and geared. Gears gave my a 1.5-2 mpg in town increase and I lost 2mpg hiway.

Check out the 589Fab half bumper, I think it's the best choice for the Z71.

If i tune it will be a gde tune with dpf and egr delete and dont really want to do that til the dpf goes out on it own. Im not too into performance anymore thats for gassers just want to get rid of the pedal delay. That 589 fab bumper has a terrible winching angle and dont really look like it fits right. Thanks though everything is already on the way

Forgot your a oil burner, diesel is a different ball game, PC is your best bet short of a full delete.
Yep i plan on deleting eventually. Just a waiting game im near the 150k mark where ill need to do the timing belt and i dont think the dpf will last a whole lot longer than that, i think 160-200k is when they start clogging up. Beleive me i cant wait to have a reason to put a 4" stack on it that matches the snorkel.
Ill roll coal with it at some point i am a hick and its a duramax.

Pedal commander should be in today sometime. And got a email that bumper will be in thursday. I think the front skid comes tomorrow, ordering this many parts causes a tracking nightmare.

Something ive noticed about the moi winch bumper while it sits waiting for this saturday to be installed. Mine is different than the pics ive seen of others. I have these threaded sections on either side that are obviously beefier than other ones. The instructions dont say what the threads are for.

Then there is a bolt hole on each side in one above thats missing on mine

And finally the bottom edge is different.
