Hello everyone, this is my introductory post and I decided to lump it in with a build thread to help facilitate some of the ideas in my head for what I want to build and to track the progress and transformation.

I'm a 35 yr old guy living in Virginia Beach, Virginia by way of the deep south of Gulfport, Mississippi. All my life ive chased some sort of adventure or exploration and naturally gravitate towards the outdoors such as fishing, snowboarding, kayaking/fishing, MTB'ing, camping, traveling and just straight up exploring things. All of which I devote my life and time to so my intentions are to build a truck capable of handling what my lifestyle is built around. The most off-road she'll see is chasing the rare MidAtlantic snow powder day, driving sandy beaches in search of trophy fish and exploring mild mountainous trails.... so in other words, nothing serious which means i'll need something capable but not completely inefficient since i'll be doing some mileage heavy trips. This will be my "OEV"... Overland Exploration Vehicle and I look forward to being apart of the community.

Very nice truck. I have a 2017 TRD Off Road double cab short bed. Stock right now but looking at getting some 265/75R16 Falken Wildpeak AT/3Ws in the near future. Planning to do a mild build along the way, i.e. sliders and skids, suspension when it comes time but nothing crazy, 1-2" max.

Looking forward to seeing the progress of your truck.
