Enthusiast I
Hello All,
This is just a little start to finish of my Megacab since the day I bought her. The megacab or "Sharkee" as my kids named her, started off as a bone stock Megacab that was a certified one owner and only 18k on the odometer. The previous owner was a 70 year old Gentleman who only used it to pull a 5th wheel with his wife. He later traded into our local dealership for a 4th gen Cummins Diesel. Luckily, I have a friend who works at the dealership and notified me as soon as the megacab was available. I walked in and walked out with a smile on my face!
This is the day I got her:
Shortly after I got rid of the Pirelli Scorpio tires for a set of 265/70/17 Comforser CF3000 M/T's:
Shortly after, I decided these tires are too small and needed to be leveled. So I decided to go with a set of 33x12.50r17LT Mickey Thompson MTZ on a set of Carli leveing springs:
Living in the valley, I got caught up in the whole "Cali Look" and decided to do the "Cali-Lean" and a set of Fuel Mavericks on 17x10's. Didn't look to bad but got over it after awhile:
After the front end decided to let me know it didn't like the offset of the rims and with of the tires, I went back to stock rims and LT285/70/17 BFG's. I also removed the plasti-dip on the bumpers and installed a add-a-leaf in the rear spring pack:
Several friends at work are heavily into Overlanding and I got bit hard. I decided it was time to build my own rig. Here is how she looks today!:
I still have lots to do, so check back often for updates!
