Well I guess the factory listing of a 6.5” speaker and the aftermarket are two different things …..

sigh oh well more parts on the way

At least I have time to paint the grill covers

This might explain why my power Mirrors don’t work all the way . I seem to be missing a few wires

Guess I’ll just work on adding some more sound denting material to the cargo are

Got the speakers all fixed with some adapters and a little messing around to retain the factory midrange speaker …. Forgot to take pics of anything lol but I did add some led lights to the tailgate for a little extra light at night . F036B32D-C803-49A4-B2A7-0C0F8B379C03.jpeg

A mix of sad and beautiful scenery. I hope it all gets a chance to grow back.

If those are natural "canned" preserves, you might consider a step up on peanut butter, sir. I am sure they have good stuff out your way, but I highly recommend Teddy all natural peanut butter with flax seed, glass jar, metal cover. Gotta mix it up, but then I just store it upside down, to keep the good PB at the top of the jar

Normally we go for the local organic pb but there’s just something about crappy old jiff that just hits a sweet spot of call it nostalgia from childhood that just makes a pb&j in the woods better .

It was quite sad to see the little resort town burned to the ground and I know they will rebuild but it will never have the same charm it use to .

Was going through some parts I still had laying around from my long term jeep project I sold a while ago ( still makes me sad ) to sell of or just toss and found a set of spark plugs I guess I never got around to putting in on my last sequoia so took a few min to toss them in and man oh man I’m glad I did . 3 of the plugs where just finger tight and coated in rust and soot . Runs smoother now and hopefully will gain a few mpgs .

Also was giving it a once over checking the unddrcarage before I take off for a trip for the weekend and well I think I found my occasional clunk . Only thing I could find in stock or was Napa’s cheap line of struts so I guess it’s better than what’s in there …. Hopefully 220E7E1E-DE0E-4B78-B86E-5885E287E577.jpeg406BEDD3-A909-4F38-8E52-D2244CF09061.jpeg

Took a weekend trip down and around mount Jefferson with some buddies , saw some amazing views , traveled some fun roads , great food and for the first time in what seems like forever a campfire.

I did manage to have a airbag pop out of the rear suspension tearing some lines and burning out the pump and causing some creativity so I could manually put air back in but that would only last a couple hours so coil conversion is on its way and a small lift then it will be on to new tires .

Sleeping inside the sequoia was so nice and comfy , a cot with a ground pad and my favorite thick sleeping bag I just slept like a baby . Next step is to get a simple platform built and find a good 2 person sleeping pad .
