Hey guys, I’m new to overlanding. I have a ‘05 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I am looking to build. Anyone who has done a build on a WK feel free to pass along recommended lift kits, wheels, tires, gear, etc.

I bought an 06 wk in June, there’s some stuff out there for them, but you gotta look. I bought a set of wheels from a 19 Wrangler and put those on with some 1.5” spacers. Had to get a shop to trim the back side of the receiver to get the spare back underneath, lol. Looks good, but really needs a lift.

I have a roof basket on the way next week. Just taking it slow.

Yeah, I’m taking it slow, too. Getting tires first then a lift. Going the trial and error route.

I have a 2000 wj. 4.5 iron rock long arm kit. hk offroad, affordable offroad, trail forged offroad is some good resources. also dpending on what motor you have there are some good but easy mods
