Hey Folks,
Starting up a build thread of my first truck I picked up back in August of last year. The stars aligned and I was able to get a great deal so pulled the trigger on a 21' Chevy Silverado 1500 3.0L Duramax. I have plans of traveling cross country to mountain bike (has great mpg for a...

Alright everyone I'm looking to get my overland rig and have my sights set on a 2003-2006 Chevy Silverado (my favorite body style), crew cab to fit the family. Full-size truck is just the way to go for me. However my dilemma is I can't really decide if I should get a 1/2 or a 3/4 ton pickup...
Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to overlanding so bare with me please. I've never been up the trail to Gallagher head Lake in Washington , but have always wanted to take my family there. I was wondering if the trail is wide enough to take a full size ram on 34's and a 4 inch lift up it during the...
Here is my 1997 Silverado K1500 that I'm building. It is used for a winter daily, overlander, tows my boat and car hauler.
I bought it 4 years ago with ~220k for $1500.
Where is everyone mounting their Compressors? I just picked up an ARB CKMTA12 and I'm not sure where the best place to mount it would be. Its going on a daily driven 2015 Silverado. I know the second battery tray would be the easiest but I want to go dual battery eventually.
Edit :
I finally figured out a name for this thing Kronk . If you have never seen the movie emperors new groove go do it ..... right now . we came up with the name because it's big , dumb but reliable and when I got it everything in the suspension squeaked and it reminded us of Kronk speaking...
I have been bouncing from forum to forum, page to page, app to app for the last couple months gathering ideas, and inspiration.
I recently purchased a new to me 2016 Silverado, Crew Cab. 4wd. Loved the thought of a land cruiser or 4runner but I really needed a pickup. Maybe one of those will...
A little over 2 years ago I decided that I wanted to put some drawers in the bed of my truck to store my gear. I knew I wanted something watertight and I also wanted to still be able to load the back of the truck if need be. After doing a lot of research on what was available and what I wanted...
So this is a build of a 1985 RamCharger. This will be a slow build, and the intent is to turn it into a launchpad for all of our travels and adventures. I have been gathering pieces here and there for years and am finally going to put them all into this build. Simultaneously, I will be...
