A group of 7 vehicles from NZ and Australia overlanding from Vladivostok to London via Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Luxembourg, France and finally across the Channel to UK.
I go with the thought process of if I can limp it to somewhere I can fix it I don't need to carry it. So wheel bearings can stop you moving, they are small and not too heavy so carry them. A welder... not. Btw you can actually weld using 2 or 3 batteries so if you are running multiple batteries...
Leatherman Charge is my choice. Been with me for many years and is the most useful tool I have ever had. Used to carry the Swiss Army knife for a while but the Leatherman is definitely better.
