Keep me posted... I may be interested if it is not too crazy on price. Still trying to figure out what I will do next but looked at my tires today doing maint. and they looked a little worn. Just checked and I have already driven over 34k in just 15 months. I had to double check the number...
In LA the main thing is to see my wife's grandmother's grave and see where she grew up. Our hotel is right by the Hollywood sign and just checking the area. I will check the links. Thanks
Thanks!! I will defiantly check that out and due to the fact that I need to wait until funds are back up I have the time to check out the possibility of a bigger spring but so far all searching for lifting options has been the spacers. Might be able to figure something out though and if I do...
We have a few things planned there the day we fly in and the next day. Seeing the main sights and hotels but we do not gamble. Just trying to see if there is anything not on the brochures that is not too hard to get to and will fit into the trip.
It can be challenging to find parts but the pilot is not bad offroad. I used to have a 2015 pilot but was 2wd. Got great deal on the one I have now, (it was my mothers) and take it everywhere!
Nice looking pilot you have there. Funny how people say they are not good offroad but the last time I was at Peter's Point Beach there were lifted 4x4 trucks having a hard time getting out and I just drove around like nothing.
No Worries on hijacking the thread. We are all here for the same...
Hello All! Looking for some advice on some can't miss stops that we could see on our trip. I am not taking my rig and we are renting just a regular 2wd SUV. So no crazy offroad spots. We are flying into Las Vegas on the 29th of this month and going to the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam on the...
Finding offroad parts can be challenging but I do find the pilot to be able to tackle what I have thrown at it. I go back and forth with the 3rd row. I do not use it much but am happy to have it when i do need it.
Good luck getting the wife into this. It took a bit to get my wife into...
I realized that as well but have not decided if that with the 2” lift would be ok. There is another pilot that has both and he stated no issues. Looked at the eb tow setup but not sure if that would be strong enough. Not real sure what I am doing yet and I have had to take a break from the...
I am actually thinking of not using the 3rd row anymore. It is nice to have but the space can be better used and if need be we will use a second vehicle. I also was thinking that removing the 3rd row completely and using the space for my dual battery setup (maybe 2 extra batteries) would be a...
My plan is to use the front mount hitch when I install it for the front recovery point as that seems to be the strongest thing that will be on the front. I am taking mine slow as well and need to search a lot for parts for it. I may get a winch that mounts to the hitch and wire it with a plug...
Will do thanks. One of the best things about overlanding so far is I was already stocked for the hurricane with all my gear.

This will be a trip starting on the east coast of Florida at Peters Point Beach on Friday night, waking up to the sunrise, Eating breakfast and then heading over to the west coast to camp and watch the sunset Saturday night.
I was starting that today but got busy at work so I need to finish it up tonight. I am still trying to find a good campground on the west coast that will allow dogs if you know any. The original thought was Shired Island but they do not allow dogs.
