I like how you think. I’ve often thought that an exploratory trip through the coal valley (cadomin, mountain park etc) identifying the abandoned towns would be cool.
I haven’t seen one specifically for Edmonton. They usually use a larger geographic area.
I’m sure finding a group that likes exploring can’t be hard in these parts. That’s usually why we’re here. [emoji16]

I use a 2005 TJ unlimited (LJ) and thoroughly enjoy it. Your price goals sound reasonable to me, but it’ll depend on where you’re at I suppose. Have a look at my build in the signature if you want.
Gotcha. Running the length of the truck bed on top of the cover are 2 - 2" square hollow steel tubing that slide into some square brackets and are secured with clevis pins. Then the tent has 3 - 1" square hollow aluminum tubing that are permanently mounted to the tent.
