We are coming down from san jose, I would just like to explore the area more. the camp area is great but I wanna put some dirt on my tires its been a month since ive been out with the truck at Pismo.
Hello everyone, I am heading down to big sure family camp and cabins next week for my birthday getaway with the misses, I remember a while back seeing a dirt road I believe Ferguson, are there any trails that are not very long that we could do out there for a little exploring? thank you
all depends on your liking. I had 16x10 on 305/70r16 mt bfg on my old ram and changed to 16x10 alum with 37x12.50r16 and even though I went a lot taller in size I actually saved 40lbs per tire on the truck buy doing that. its a combination of research and availability really.
Great information. also folks there are some P-metric tires that are XL extra load that will withstand more weight carrying capacity compared to an LT tire in certain sizes. Feel fre to ask any question I got 14 years in the tire industry.
I did not end up checking it out. I was way south over at bass lake. but I did manage to rip both axle boots and busted rf tie rod end. man I tell ya I never had any problems with my old ram but this Nissan . wow, Big MONEY PIT. so time to leave her on the side and order parts for repairs
Hello everyone. I am thinking about heading up the corral hollow trail on the 3rd of July until the 4th just an easy 2 day trip nothing to hardcore as I will have my 4 yr old with me I figure perfect weather perfect trial. and maybe some folks will show up. Thanks.

My 96 ram big block swamp was getting close to 4mpg before I sold it. 512 gears 1 tons front and rear sitting on 47's, my daily qx4 sitting on 33 stock gearing and under powered with homemade rood rack full size spare. Homemade bumper and skids gets about 12-14 mpg
Hello ladies and gents. I am new member. from the bay area, Santa Clara,Milpitas area. current daily and overlandish set up is a 1999.5 infiniti qx4. just a 2' lift. home made skid plates. home made roof rack and front winch bumper, no winch yet. factory center dif lock and rear locker. open...
I would say a winch before locker cost and effectiveness, my qx comes factory with rear and a center lock diff, its the same that come sin the jdm skyline r34 model. its ok. but I would feel safer with a winch any day. I think just knowing its there for absolute recovery when you or someone may...
