Looks like Camino Rio south of Dudleyville north of Mamouth has been gated at the beginning of private property. It was only a matter of time. Please respect land owners, they don’t have to let us pass through their property.

That looks like a great trip. We don’t usually plan that far in advance, but would like to be on the maybe list. We are a capable and comfortably modified overlander. Our base is Tucson.

We really liked Oregon, but you really have to be aware of fires as you go. Also historic fires in the area can close part of the route for a few years. We were doing the coast range north to south and had a land slide take out part of the route and private timber companies (Weyerhaeuser)...

We did the trailer build for our tj, the biggest thing is watch your weight, have trailer brakes if possible. The battery idea is great with solar to keep it charged. Have fun, the sky’s the limit with imagination on these things.

We are in Tucson part year. Chat with Bryan at Sonoran Expedition Collective. The guy, has a small overlanding shop and is a wealth of knowledge. He put on our auxiliary fuel tank 2 years ago and has helped with radio wiring. He’s an OB member too

Important trail update! Coast range north to south route has a major land slide totally removing the road! This is south of hwy 18 and Rose Lodge, the coordinates are close to 44.92583, -123.80265 on forest road 17. I could not find a bypass with the time I had available today.

Sorry, we were tied up doing the Creek n Trail event in southern Oregon. Maybe July, we do want to join up with some folks.

What kind of armor are you thinking is required? Skid plates in a particular area?

Hi there, we are in Tucson and looking for some adventures

So glad to be out of the rain. Time to fire up GAIA and hit the trails.

I got a suggested list of items from friends at the fire department then added a few items that filled personal needs. Training is always important to back up all that nice equipment.

We are still interested too. Thinking over home logistics and decisions on our rig options.

Thought you might cross in Idaho north of Bonners Ferry. We are coming from Oregon
