If you need/want definite spots you can always count on KOA but the are not the most secluded (mostly familys) but I have been to coupe of REALLY cool ones on the way to CA & The North Rim.
Try downloading a couple of Apps.
Once you have your gear take a couple small trips (dry runs) to get to know your equipment.
Check out the Maine Atlas & Gazetteer. It has some logging roads that take you to some remote places.
I have seen 5-6 DYI on TacomaWorld that look great. 3 of are over 5yrs and holding up extremely well.
There are a few pro jobs that look outstanding and should for the price.

Hilton Park was great but it would be better later in the season because its a nice spot. I think only four of us attended.
