Similar. Honestly, I find in Alberta some of the hardcore "overlanders" don't like to share info on their spots. But there are a few good facebook groups where you might get some nice people to share.
I use Gaia, Google, BRMB printed maps and then just a sense of adventure;)
I really do like...
Thanks. We love movies so adding one was a must. Took me a while to figure out what I wanted and how. We paid it with a Nebula Capsule II Projector. So far it works great.
More of an overall trailer walk around, but here is our kitchen. Video was shot quickly before our big trip from Edmonton, AB to the US for a 21 day, 8400km adventure. A better video with drone footage will come this fall.
Cheers.
Off-Road Teardrop Trailer Walk Around
Hi everyone,
I'm from Edmonton, AB, Canada. I thought I would share and continue my trailer build and journey here. While I first started the build journal on Expedition Portal (prior to joining OB), I thought I would update going forward on both forums.

I had the GSI Glacier. CRAP don't get them. Flimsy handles, with thin plastic material that burns off. GSI wouldn't refund me, but Cabela's Canada did. After 2 uses I could no longer hold the handles. Other GSI products are great, but the Glacier series is not.
I ended up buy from T-Fal...
Here is a link to my camp kitchen on our custom off-road teardrop. I built all the cabinets myself.

Our 2021 JLUR and our semi-custom off-road teardrop trailer. Photo taken early April 2022 at the beginning of our 21 day, 8400km trip from Edmonton, AB to the US and back: MT, ID, UT, NV, CA. Campsite was about 30 mins NW of Moab.
Thanks for that. We are doing Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, California + Oregon.
Been looking at this but can’t find much info on it for reviews:

Hey everyone,
My wife and I are both self employed. I own a commercial interior design firm, she is a life coach. We are travelling from Canada to the US for 1 month in April. While away, we both have to be connected, not an option. Initially I was thinking of a WeBoost and using our cell...
Thanks for the feedback. The more we look at it, we are going to put it on our list for our next trip to UT. We might tight on time for other areas we have to be in. We'd rather push it to our next trip, then to rush through it on this one. But it will be the top of the next UT trip.
Thanks. It tracks pretty tight. I haven't measured it but have been meaning too as soon as it's out of the garage next month for the next phase.
Our trip is 25 days from Canada. A nice combination of Public Lands, developed campgrounds and a hotel at the half-way point. Stops include the...
Thanks. Our tongue may look long that's only cause the trailer isn't done. There is a custom tongue box for fridge/battery going between the habitat and vertical post for the spare tire carrier in front. During our design we looked at overall length, etc of other trailers such as Off-Grid &...
My wife and I are in the midst of planning our 25 day trip from Alberta, Canada to various areas of Western USA. One area of course is Moab. We already have our entry pass to The Arches, and plan to do Zion and a few other areas in Utah. One area I was contemplating is a perhaps a 1...
