Both these sites look like great candidates if I want to be close to the event. My Oregon ATV permit is but it looks like I can get one in Madras if needed.

Hello all. I will be driving down from the Seattle area for Overland Expo PNW and I am looking for a good dispersed camping site with in an hour or two of Redmond Oregon. Just one night and then head to the show. I will be in my jeep towing a turtleback trailer

I know you said price is not an issue and I have always wanted a Gransfors felling axe but just can't seem to let myself spend $400 on an axe.
I will say the Husqvarna forged 26" axe for $90 is a great axe. You will need to shorpen it a bit but does come with a decent edge.
