Hi, I haven't been getting a lot in a few years so I'm trying to get more involved. I see there are 7 "spots" is that the number of vehicles? I have some buddies that we're talking about coming down from Spokane, I want to make sure I understand all the things. Also it says "lift, armor, etc"...
What frequency will you be on? I don't have my license yet, but I'd love to listen in, obviously I can't use echolink yet either. I'm in Spokane, so it's unlikely I'll ever hear you anyway without echolink, since all I have to listen is a hand held.
I always considered Montana part of the NW, I guess since I was born there I'll have to have dual citizenship, or regionship? Forget it, I'll just take one of everything!

I haven't done it yet, but I've clear plasti-dipped a few other things and it works great for protecting what's under it and letting it show through.

I'm sure it's waist deep, I just drove from bead lake over to the access road that is a direct shot down to the bridge at Ione, I think it leads to Skookum lake too. There are pictures on my IG @twigcrusher.
Just past cooks lake there was an abandon (probably that day) Chevy Silverado stuck, I...
That's very kind of you! Thanks. I'm actually fine for affording the outing, I just don't know what I'll be doing for work and wether I can take the time off.

I'm interested, but currently unemployed, so I have no idea what I'll be doing at that point. I'll prepare for it, but I can't guarantee I'll be able to go.

I was trying to use one of the Hema type apps or anything that would work on my phone or tablet, but all of it require you to pre download sections of the map, there was no room for spontaneous navigation while out of internet coverage.
I recently found topo fusion that I can run on a laptop...
I don't think my skybox would hold up off road, it still let's in dust etc. as it's not a sealed unit. Mine came with a mat for floor and a net, but I don't think the tie downs would last being pulled on off road. I think you'd be better suited to get a rack/basket and use some type of weather...
I ordered the ARB dual compressor, and bought some used Rubicon wheels so I can have summer and winter rims, as well as plasti-dip the "new" rims black, no use wreaking expensive black rims when I can just paint a set I paid $250 for.

Here's a video, I'm still not clear, but you may not need a pass for the forests. I never had a pass for eastern wa, but I've always be told at the Cascades and west you do need one. May want to just call the ranger station and ask.
forest pass info video
Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest...
If you're going for less than three days, then day passes, but the Washington discovery (discover?) Pass is 30 for a year. I'm not sure which areas of WABDR are in national Forest and which are state. The NW forests pass is like 30 or 40 for a year also, $80 is you want the whole USA for...
In Washington state you can get a day pass for $10 to access state lands. Federal land depends on the region, you can get a nationwide parks and forest pass for $80 I think.
Edit: I say depends on the region, because you don't need a forest pass more most of eastern WA North Idaho and western...
I went a head and bought the NW forest pass, I have never needed it before living in eastern WA I rarely go west, but it's cheaper than getting a ticket.
