I went with a Home Depot box and going to scrap it. Not happy and I guess I need to cut a vent for the intake-I thought as long as air was getting in...I have a vent close to it but I guess it's not enough-I keep getting overheating errors when I put the lid on but works perfect without the lid...
So with great sorrow-I do so mean thiS....I have to say we won't be going-just seems like it would be rough driving back to san jose in order to do a photo booth-our side business-that evening after driving back. Sucks because I bought new Husky Car Mats, a radio and a license as well as new...
I checked and double checked and even though I was told we were free all weekend-turns out we have commitment Sunday evening-But I'm thinking we would just leave early Sunday-by 9am since we are in San Jose
Hi-I'm new to all this and with Black Friday here-is Midland Radio a good place to buy one or Amazon? Also I'm hoping to join a trip here in a couple weeks and I see a GMRS channel that's going to be used so guessing that type of rail would be good to take. Are these different than the Motorola...
I’ve used a heater-worked great. Need to still finalize the build though. Just set it and used the remote to turn on and off. And of course a carbon monoxide detector.
I actually got mine working but it doesn't look awesome-but worked well on a trip we just took. Need to keep working it. Your printing some parts? Your using high heat resin?
I found a heater on Amazon that was sold as new for 60 dollars-couldn't resist trying at that price. Arrived and looks new. Have you gotten any farther on your build? I'm thinking the Apache case as well or might go with something bigger that would hold the fuel as well.
Just got back from a single day stop at Portola Valley Redwoods. We've been trying to go there and have had to cancel 4x! We actually got a email saying they are closing due to drought conditions and why we only stayed one night. When we arrived-they had actually canceled our reservations...
Recently got the OvS 270-I like it so far! Quality seems nice and setup and storing isn't too bad. Delivery was fast-got it within 2-3 days and got a discount when I ordered it!
I really like ours. I'm lucky enough to ride my bike to work most of the week so my tent stays on my truck. We try to have my truck setup so we can take off and not have much too load up or take down when we go. Right now we've been just doing short trips for the most part and it works out great...
Hi-my name is Robert and from the Bay Area. We used to camp up past Pinecrest about 25 years ago-I remember the sign always said Trail of the Ancient Drawfs-was a lot of fun and have continued to camp since then-but last few years ago started getting into it more. We use a Ram1500 4 wheel drive...
I was thinking the same but my wife actually froze some of the food we were going to use towards the end of our 5 day trip. So she had all our food on our first stop in the fridge area and the rest in thr freezer. Then we headed to the second part of our trip we set both sides to 37 degrees and...
Selling our Tepui 4 person tent. Have the additional Annex room which we only used once, additional insulation layer, 2 shoe bags, upgraded straps (metal Happy Strappy), condensation mat and recently upgraded Denver Company Tepui Matress. Comes with rain fly as well. On the last trip we had...
Hi-I’m in the Bay Area and started camping in my twenties-I’m 50 now. We actually discovered camping on Federal Land when we were on our way to Pinecrest and weren’t able to find any open spots-so we traveled up about 1/2 a hour and found campsites we would go to over and over again through out...
