VisitSilverton on IG gives constant updates on why trails are open. For example Black Bear is closed due to snow. I know the main gas station at the “Y” in Silverton has the trail status’s as well. Be safe and have fun out there.

Thank you again. Yes we are going to Vancouver Island and Torino gonna stay at Surf Grove for a few days. Then head over towards Yoho National park. But a Canadian Ghost town does sound awesome. Goal is to end up in Glacier National Park and Yellowstone NP.

We are leaning towards MET trail above Uncle Toms cabin. But with any snow run that could change last minute due to the amount of snow and what’s open.

Where in Alberta are you located. Just trying to get some sort of the timeframe for the trip.

How much are you asking for everything? If the water tank the Alu-Cab tank or something else. Finding a replacement arm shouldn’t be an issue here in the US.
