agree with this section but when I did this over the summer my stock JL handed it fine in 4H and a good line without any issue. Really the only portion on the north half with any need for 4wd.
Family is heading up there end of June for a few days away. This is not a camping/overland trip (rented a house) and not a 4wd trip (not the wife's cup of tea) but wondering if there are some network of firetrap roads for a nice drive thru the area. Guess as a reference, the wife and kids have...
I believe you can get a day pass but not sure. They do plan on offering additional passes in Oct for the last part of the year. Recommend following IBSP on Facebook- they do a good job posting updates.
Depends on your definition of central Jersey. Some gravel roads in Hunterdon county portions around 202 but not much. Most is further south past Princeton and closer to Jackson.
So I did the first part from High Point to Route 80 yesterday. High Point/Stokes roads all open and empty (surprisingly). I did have an issue later on Old Mine Road - the last portion closer to the Gap appeared gated. Honestly, it was the end of my ride and I had to rush to get home. Got to...
chipping away at the trail call sections at a time with the family. The kids, especially my daughter loves it. Previously we had done from Chester to Lambertville is three different outings. This past Saturday we did from Lambertville to Fort Dix. Most was kind of boring - as expected as it...
Union County here. Back into a Jeep after many years away (old jeep in college days in my profile pic) and love taking the family out locally. We have been chipping away at the Trans NJ Trail with short day trips. Also loving the IBSP MSP pass and plan on spending a lot of time on the sand.
I recently did a fifty mile section from rt202 in Readington to 202 in Lambertville. Would say most is paved. 15% maybe gravel? Seems like a fair number of roads in Hunterdon county were gravel but recently paved. Still a nice ride in some beautiful parts of the state.
So I tried a fifty mile section today jumping on off rt 202 in Readington and ended back in 202 near Lambertville. Mostly paved roads but many seemed like freshly paved that used to be single lane gravel roads recently. Regardless, was a nice drive thru a beautiful part of the state. Gonna...
