Oh man, I bought two vehicles within the last year, and I haven't updated this... So here we go:
My 2017 Suzuki DR-Z400SS:
I've got some Wolfman soft bags for it, and a set of dirt wheels. Currently building out a smarter tool kit, and lightening the bike of unnecessary weight. I can load it...
TL;DR - my ‘02 Tacoma’s head gasket is going south, and I need some recommendations in SoCal.
My taco’s HG is on its way out, like many other 1st gen 3.4Ls before it, around the 210k mile mark.
Symptoms: Rough starts after it sits a while, very reduced MPG, losing coolant, and sweet, white...
I feel like there's something lost in translation here.
$1,800 USD? I know your prices are better than that.
150-200lb? Seems VERY heavy for aluminum and nylon.
There's a steep, rocky straight hill about 150yds that I had to get dragged up, that was fun. Also an 18"+ shelf I needed some help with. Anything else and my locked 2WD was fine. Even surprised myself a few times.
Glad you all had fun!
Dang, I've already got plans for that weekend. Wish I was able to get up there with y'all. Have fun.

Under this car cover, and all of the secret-keeping soft armor, there is a prototype JK Pickup. Expect seeing these some time next year. Spotted in Studio City, CA - home of the prototype test drivers.
Bought this recently for a prop, and since I’m not a licensed HAM Operator, I’m offering it up to the OB world at a good discount.
Also included: 3’ ABR Industries LMR-240-UF type RG8X (BNC)
Check photos for details.
$80 - local f2f in Los Angeles area.
$90 - shipped USPS in lower 48...
Switching out a bunch of ignition components (spark plugs, coils, plug wires) and an 02 sensor in hopes that I'll get rid of the P0300 - random misfire code I can't seem to shake. Also crossing my fingers that it's not a head gasket issue...
Just saw this thread. Glad you guys got together.
Don't get hung up on attendance numbers. The fact that you got together is cool enough. I've been to the OC, Simi & IE meets/trail runs. Even did a tour of the Toyota Museum with @VCeXpedition. Sometimes there were 6 people, others there were...
They've always been a good group to side with, as a California Off-Roader. Good morals, not political, and pretty darn effective for longer than I've been alive.
