Most of these trips I have been on have multiple routes and most vehicles can make them. Did Mojave with a stock landcruiser on street tires, Anza Borego had bypasses for any "obstacle", Big Bend was a bit bumpy but nothing crazy. No real rock crawling unless your vehicle is equipped for it...
