So I have a bit of a sickness, my daily is a 99 discovery 2, im restoring a neglected 1990 range rover classic, and im looking to line up my next project car, i want a series truck. Im thinking about a 2A, metal dashes are the best! However I've been coming across alot of good deals on series...
Just picked up this diamond in the rough today, the bad: lots of rust for me to repair, abs master cylinder inop. The good: interior is 100% other than cleaning it doesn't need anything, runs really good, brand new suspension and tires.
Here's the d2, paint was wrecked and I couldn't see 6000 for a paint job, so about 400 in paint and other supplies from summit, and a little help from a former employer. I work at a small land rover shop in Asheville now( not the dealer Asheville land rover is awful), if your ever in the area...
I daily a 99 discovery 2, I was going to build it out, but I'm bringing this beauty home very very soon, its a Pennsylvania truck so there is a lot of body welding to do. Good news is the only problems it has IS the body rust.
Also por15 is going to be a friend being up there, and leatherique is the best leather care there is I use it on my 1999 land rover discovery2, keeps the leather soft and hydrated so it doesn't crack and tear.
Just joined, I've got a 1999 land rover discovery 2. Got into overlanding while in the marine corps. Used to go to hurricane creek all the time but what other places is there around this general area
