    Old school Chevy

So just a little update, I finally broke down and took the suburban to the shop, just haven't really had the time to really dig in and get it running, so I asked the local shop to figure out what's wrong and I'm going to go form there. I have a cousin that wants the chassis so he can rebuild...

    Old school Chevy

I can get the distributor in all the way to engage with everything, but for some reason, no matter what I have tried, I can't get it to fire off, made a little progress the other day, but she acts like it's 180° out of time, when I rotated 180, it got worse

    New rig

    New rig

I've rotated 180, still not firing, doesn't try to till you spin clockwise as far as it goes, but still isn't enough, also sounds like it could be firing on the exhaust stroke, just a lot of spitting and popping out of the exhaust, could I have put the harmonic balancer on backwards

    New rig

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while, still working on the suburban, turns out I still have electrical problems, still doesn't hold a charge for more than a few hours, needs a new carburetor, fuel inlet is stripped out and won't stay in place, so leaks pretty bad, have the whole top end pulled...
