Back from a 2 week 2500km Road trip most of it in the dirt. Only got 1 water in diesel warning. No issues with the trailer but lots of new ideas to make things easier. Definitely going lithium in the trailer as AGM does not cut it when it's overcast and you can't get enough sun
So I had the same issue and got a company that makes canvas covers to take the half bag off and make a full bag that covers the back as well. And they added a flap that goes over the zipper as well.
When we camped in a ground tent it was minimal. Everything you needed and used and nothing else. Then moved to trailer and rtt and slide out kitchen. And evening got packed in., including the sink. We had to unpack everything after the first time out and start again. So much useless stuff found...
Did 5 days camping along the coast in the Namaqua National Park. Luckily it was not crowded. Had a bit of adverse weather but otherwise beautiful. Well maintained and helpful staff. Lots to do in the Park if you go for the flowers and site seeing
I have a rear panel scrap from sliding in the snow a year ago that I still haven't taken care. Everytime I see it I smile, because that was a good day out. And now we've added on some pin stripe from large bushes and narrow trails on a 4 day wild camping expidition
Hi all. My name is Craig and my family and I live in Cape Town, South Africa. We love the outdoors and simply love taking the long way to get anywhere. It's great being part of this world wide family.
