Sorry I was studying for an exam and haven't been online. The dynamic load is about 160 lbs, directly to the roof, which with the rack and tent I am close to...but I have the weight spread out along tracks and rack. No cracking or bending at all. The static max is about 800 lbs so its fine...
If you end up building it make sure to post pics. Also if you do decide and if you want, send me a PM with your email and I will email you a copy of the actual plans from Third Coast Craftsman with supply list and cut list to make it easy. Cheers!
Thanks Benson! The roof rack I made by chopping up a small trailer frame (in my apartment living room with a hacksaw lol) and gave it the body fill and rattle can treatment. Then I ordered prinsu mounting feet and jerry-rigged them to work with the rack and mounted them on yakima tracks. Also...

I am wiring in a bunch of different accessories to a Blue Sea Systems 6 Circuit Blade using relays. I will attach a picture of my proposed wiring. MY QUESTION: Can I solder all the rocker switches 12 V wires together (Blue) and then connect all three to the same fuse?
If anyone sees a way I...
US Navy M105 trailer I retrofitted for a camping trailer. Drove across Canada with no problem. Trailer will not include tent (or my gf).
- Brand new 7000lb axle with electric brakes (down-rated to 5500 lbs because of distance from spring centers)
- Chevy HD truck tires and rims with spare
