Hmmmmm. I could not get it to work.

So my 2020 4Runner has apple car play and I could not get Gaia to work.

I have car play in my 4Runner, i will check tomorrow and see if it works and give an update.

Send it back, it should be straight. Try the Larsen 2/70B antenna.

I’m also running a larsen NMO 2/70B Antenna with a hole thru mount ( you drill a small hole in your roof and the cable runs between the roof and the headliner), this mount gives you the best ground plane. I can get pics if you want to see what it looks like with and without the antenna.

Great guide thanks, for anyone who does not have a ham license, the license is super easy to get so go get one and in the process you will learn a few things.
