Does anyone have the gps coordinates for a campsite at the mouth of the Huron river, i have seen videos on this spot but i have yet to find it also im always interested in any routes from mackinaw to copper harbor
So we are looking to do a Michigan to either Wyoming or Colorado through the badlands over labor day week and i am looking for suggestions and possible updates on the fires in Colorado
My trip i had all planned in spring from MI to Yellostone i had to cancel due to COVID so now i am doing a unplanned trip to Colorado so im reaching out to everyone for some suggestions on where to go and what to see
O and i have never been west of Chicago so this is all new to me
U do want to see devils tower but the more i find non paved routes and overland style camp spots my 2 week trip is turning into a 2 month trip so i am thinking this is going to turn into a once a year thing because there is way to much to see especially places that are off pavement
O believe me if I could just leave now and head that way i would, like i said before im going to have a hard time coming home one i get out there i might just say f it and find a job out that way

I am overwhelmed with info and other routes to take and it seems to be the majority of people saying to stay off of 90 so thanks fir the info and i am currently planning other routes
Whos from out west that could fill me in on what the weather is usually like the beginning of April im thinking rain but Michigan has little as far as elevation so i have a feeling you all are going to tell me theres 2’ of snow still that early in Spring
Ive been looking on campsites and i am definitely going to camp and check out the badlands but yea other than a green giant statue there does not look like too much until South Dakota
We have friends in Seattle and their story was they came out for a visit then back for another visit then that was it they moved and never looked back so for the limited time ill have i really want to explore as much of NOT the city as i can and i feel that this road trip will be like no other
i have a couple of week s off the beginning of April and again i have never been west of Chicago but i have friends in Seattle so we are going to camp and explore all around there but i just dont know what to expect beginning of April i hope that this warm winter may make it a little nicer
i am looking to make the most from this trip and this is the first time i have gone west of Chicago so i am looking for any places to see and camp along the way, i have a feeling once i get to the Pacific Northwest i will not want to come home
