Recent issue I’m having and hoping someone might know.
On my Mac I created a number of routes and they display on the main map. However, if I log onto the app on my iPad or my phone, these tracks do not display on the map even though the same tracks are in the saved folder and selected to be...
Will be doing a trip from Massachusetts to Nee Brunswick and Nova Scotia in the fall.
Looking for advice on the actual border crossing, both ways. I have seen the restricted items list but have additional questions.
Protection: obviously we will not be bringing our guns or knives with us. We...
Very solid thoughts.
The plan is to do about 8-10 days on this trip. We won’t be able to setup a basecamp and then go out to explore as we will be going from one point to another, trying to cover ground as we go. Typically I’d bring the trailer if we can set up basecamp and then venture out...
I am planning on an overlanding trip through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and a good portion of the trip will be off pavement. I have a trailer that is very capable off road that also carries my RTT.
However, I’m having an internal debate about whether or not to bring it.
One side of me...
I've only had them for about 8 months now. So far they've been great. Not as loud as the MTZs that I had previously. Overall I am very satisfied with them.
There are 3 at Rausch Creek in PA. 2 are doable and fun to do. The 3rd requires very modified vehicle, a good spotter, and some time (lots of boulders).
Another thing to consider is regearing if you go to 35s. I went with 4.88 and I’m able to use 6th gear again. Life is much better with this gearing. If you are towing, I’d consider going 5.13.
In addition, you have to eventually upgrade the driveshafts on 3.5 lift. Something to also consider.
I have a BlackVue and it’s been a great experience. Hardwiring is not too difficult. Is there a particular step in the process that you have questions on?
I have the Teraflex Nebo rack. This mounts directly to the roll bars and is slightly lower profile. I have yet to put my RTT up there but plan to in the Fall.
There is a spot on the Cape (Brewster) that we go to that lasts about 2-3 hours. Nothing technical. Another area that is near Freetown is Copicut Road but I've never been. Only places I know for overloading type trails are all in VT, NH, and ME.
