Death Valley trip in mid February

Titus is a must! The Racetrack is interesting too and don't forget your photo at Kettle Junction. I got almost stuck in the South Pass in March 2020 has it was just a mud & snow fest. Pick your route wisely. :-)

    SoCal Dispersed Camping

I have been taking 4 days weekends as I have been working non-stop since the pandemic. Finding not too crowded places is challenging these days, and add to it the Southwest heat wave. I went to: Coyote Flat: Dispersed camping close to Bishop, higher altitude = cooler. Great place! Few patches...

How has the Covid-19 virus affected your adventures?

I understood your point(s), no worries, I just believe that seeing things in a rational perspective is the only way right now. I am an Atheist and facts or solid hypothesis are very important to me. Who is "they" and what would they get out of a pandemic? Don't get me wrong, I don't trust our...

How has the Covid-19 virus affected your adventures?

Landlubber, these situations have been recorded through history and this is not a novelty. As an example; the Spaniards brought the flu to South America with disastrous consequences, then the Spaniards got infected by the Native American STD when they explored the North and we know how it...

How has the Covid-19 virus affected your adventures?

This situation is serious, and can get worse. I planned to go camping / overlanding the Sierras and If cancelling help reducing the risks of contamination for myself and others, so be it. Another thing to consider if you decide to travel is that many business, including gas stations, are...

    Let them eat SPAM!

I like the Turkey Spam, and the hickory wood too :-) I can't find the photo but my favorite is to put a slice on my long fork and roast it over the bonfire. Little known fact: Anything roasted over a bonfire becomes non-toxic, so as Spam (disclaimer, this is BS but I want to believe it so bad!)

    Member Rides

Just installed my new Demello front bumper on my T4R 07 to kinda match the rock sliders. Plastic and clearance did not work well together... Just sayin'. I can't wait to hit the trails again!

US West SD County NEW monthly meet-up

Hey Chris! I read a little more about the OB meetups and I was wondering if folks brings maps and similar stuffs to prepare their next expeditions or just talk about the past ones. I guess that the bar meetups don't have a specific topic, I get it! Probably the parking lot rig tour for the newbies!

    Ask About Gaia GPS!

Hello everyone, Well, GAIA has been unreliable to me... Yes, I am a Premium member so as All Trails and both have giving me headaches. I download few maps so far and they let me down for no reasons. I could blame Android Auto for resetting the app every time I turn on the engine on my truck...
