We were up on the Alpine Loop last year for 4 days during the FJ Summit. It was not an issue as long as you are staying out in the boonies.

When you get in closer, go to 146.460 per the RP comms plan. The Colorado Connection depends on your being to able to hit a repeater for trans and receive. 146.460 will be simplex/direct.

We have some family things going on and Rainbow Falls is a ways out. We will try to make it, but may not be able to. I will try to let you know this evening.

Weird... i was trying to replicate on my phone, but I already had the route there, so not sure I am getting the same result. If yo open the saved items in your phone’s Gaia, can make sure that route name is “showing” on the map? It would be the little eye icon and it should be green if showing...

Are you using Gaia on your iPhone also?

Are you selecting the “Save GPX” button or trying to open in Google Maps or Google Earth? It seems to download the .gpx file for me, then I can open in Gaia. I don’t believe Google Maps or Google Earth support .gpx without some third party add-on.

No worries, a good drivers brief should take care of most of that. I would recommend no more than 5 vehicles with about 20 minutes apart. The lead crew can pick a spot somewhere along the way that everyone can link back up at...probably crossing RRR. Main points will be a slower paced driver up...

@Jeepsies thanks for the right up and the comparison between Rotopax and Titan. From the pictures it looks like you are using the stock tire carrier? If so, did you put a hinge and tailgate support kit in? Any info would help. Thanks
