Hello all!
It’s been a hectic week and I still have to finalize my plans but I got those dates off of work so my trip is a go.
I plan on being in Death Valley some time on Wednesday as I am going to take a detour to Lake Tahoe to check out the snow.
I am coming from the Bay Area so going a bit further East may be out of the way for me.
I could be open to any idea though. I don’t have an itinerary yet but I do know I will need to get near a WiFi source by Sunday for a day so I can do some work.
I have this week off and have decided upon Death Valley as my explore spot. Any links or support on what I should do or where I should go would be great! My main goal is to wake up in the desert and catch a sunrise.
I went back in June. It was amazing out there, perfect BLM land although I had heard that the fires reached a part of it so I dont know how "scenic" it would be now.
I have had my rig for over a year now and have been itching to camp out in the snow. I’d be camping in the car with one other person. The rig has 34s and all terrains. I’ve gone through a few trails in Tahoe and some smaller trails off of the rubicon so I am not an expert but I do have some idea...
Thanks for the kind words but unfortunately it is a Coastal Off-road DIY High Clearance bumper.
I would not recommend purchasing from them. Although they did answer my questions regarding the bumper some of the pieces that I asked to be included with the bumper were never sent. They take a few...
Did a bit of fab work to mount my light bar.
And looking to see if you guys recommend some amber or some white flood lights for the squares that are not filled up.
Will do a little more digging but my current budget for pod lights are under $150 for the set up.
I would love to drop $290 for DOT rigid industries flood lights but that wouldnt be financially responsible right now. I will be sure to make a new thread of what i end up doing. Thanks for the input!
Sorry, I mis-typed. the options of the lights were SPOT or FLOOD. Ideally id like to get fog pod lights with a cut off but I cannot find many in my price point and I really need to get my bumper painted up before it starts to really rust.
I have decided to go with the Extreme LED X6/X6s series light bar for my rig. This will be placed in the front plate bumper and no matter what size I choose I will need to take material off the bumper. Last year I took a trip to South Lake Tahoe and was caught in a snow storm. I was driving a...
I am brand new to lifted vehicles and to wheeling. It has always been a dream of mine to go out into the wilderness to both explore and camp while being completely independent from having to go to the store every day.
Although I don’t have any intention to drive trails in the complete darkness...
Got rid of my sports car for an 04 SR5 V8 4Runner. As a kid I was put in the back seat of a 3rd gen 4runner and I remember my excitement when my uncle rolled down the rear window and I felt as if I were in a storm. It started off stock but the first time I took her wheeling the 1st gen 4runner...
