Changed to a Softopper. Selling my bed rack. Tracks mount to stake pockets, and are in short bed length. The rack is their mid height which sits just below the vehicle roof. It’s good for RTT or cargo boxes, but maybe not lumber or paddle boards.
This setup allows the racks to easily slide...
Selling a radiator I got for my old Disco. Sold the truck. Have had the radiator in the box in storage for a few years. It's unused, new condition. Anyone need it? Gimme $200 plus shipping (or come pick it up in Littleton CO.) and it's yours. Somebody needs to keep an old Disco on the road...
Hey, thanks for the dual battery parts list! I did the cheap dual battery mod in my 99 suburban. Looking to use some nicer parts in my '16 Sierra because the Cole Hersee piece I used in the '99 just broke after only about 18 months. I think the Blue Sea solenoid is exactly what I need!
I'm selling a lift kit for Chevy/GMC 1500 pickups; Denali WITHOUT magneride. It's new in the box as it comes from RC. This is the kit: 3.5 Inch Lift Kit | Chevy/GMC 1500 (07-16). I only opened it to take pics.
Going a different direction with the truck, so I'll sell this for $400 picked up in...
Going a different direction. Selling my almost new truck bed rack. I installed it, drove around for a month, and decided it's not what I need. Comes with the TracRac base rails that will mount to stake pockets on 5 1/2 foot pickup beds. It includes some extra hardware, couple of cleats, 4 cross...
I had crossbars made from superstrut for a while. I changed the setup a little, but still use a piece of it to mount my awning. It works well generally. I painted mine black with some primer and auto bumper spray paint. It held up better than I thought. My advice is use lock washers on all your...
Nice day out at So'Wyo yesterday. I went out to get the trail cam, and if I can figure out the SD card adapter situation I'll post some rad clips from that. Anyways... The place is nice and peaceful, and I finally found the wild horses! :D
Much appreciated. I like having documentation in order. I got it back in November, but I carry copies of the documents filed with the county and stuff in case anybody asks. Official paperwork has basically stood still in Covid. So far I've seen exactly 0 other people out there, and mine have...
See. This is the stuff I wanted to know! DECLINATION. I would have gone out there and ended up in North Nevada trying to get to Idaho. Y'all saved me from living Into The Wild 2! :grinning:
Yeah man, I've practically rebuilt this thing since I got it a couple years ago. But it's so simple and reliable. I wanted something that had barn doors, could haul a metric shit ton of shit, AND get parts for it on a Sunday in BFE if the gods require it. So that left the GMT400 platform...
Yeah the stick shadows would be a cool visualization for realtime. We do a lot of stargazing at night, and I've shown the kids how to use the big dipper to find the north star.
I want to better learn, and teach my kids, orienteering. Like with an actual compass and stuff. Anybody else into it? Should I just start with a YouTube video and go outside? What about the actual compass? Anything to consider there?
