Yea that is the one. Just looked at the date and times and won't be able to make that work. I work every other tuesday and my off tuesdays the wife and I usually go out of town. Guess I will have to do it the old fashioned way and study the question bank.
I feel like I saw a thread or event about an event going on for those who want to get their Ham license, has this come and gone or still upcoming? Will there be another one any time soon?
I am that guy who would much rather venture out away from the crowds, don't want to be rushed on the trail. I may or may not go, I don't know anyone who is attending.
Id like to get 3-5 of us if we can but worst case scenario I am going with my wife. Nothing crazy difficult on that route and most of it is close to towns.
You have a link to that event? If you are talking the weekend of the 19/20 then I might go to that and do the OAT earlier in the month or move it back to November.
EDIT: Found the thread on the forums, doing some reading on it now. Estimating 500 ppl seems like it might be a little crowded for...
Hey guys I started a thread for the folks in my area but wanted to make sure others had the opportunity to attend if they wanted too. We are planning a trip for the eastern portion of the OAT in October, here is a link to the thread if you are interested in attending. OAT in October
Looking at running the eastern section of the OAT this October. Going to start just east of Tulsa and run south and then west back to I-35. We are looking at two separate dates to see if others are interested. Will either be October 7-10 or 21-24. Plan on being in Tulsa the Sunday before so that...
Thanks, I sure hope so. Just going to run 35s first go while I button some other stuff up on the truck but once those tires are toast I will be opting for 37s, 4.88s and atleast a rear lock, maybe a front.
Axle and suspension is easy enough for me to handle. It’s literally how that trailer is built and the materials used. It would fall apart, there is a reason some of these overland/off-road trailers are pricey, standard trailer materials just won’t last for some of us. You’d also need a 360...
Super excited, just got my order placed yesterday for the Tundra. Icon stage 8 which includes RXT rear leaf pack, 2.5s front and rear with RR, Icon Billet Uniball UCAs, carrier bearing drop, diff drop, extended rear brake lines, wheels, and tires. 6-8 week lead time is going to kill me lol...
I wish I could go that route but unfortunately the places we go that trailer would get absolutely destroyed. I will end up being in the 20k plus range sadly :(
Man I honestly can't remember, I want to say it was more boxy. It wasn't your typical swing out sides or flip up panels, it was full pull outs on each side. Was a super slick design because it allowed for more space and left your bed in tact when you needed to close up and move on.
I am stumped guys, my wife and I found a trailer about 8 months back that was really cool but ever after looking through here and the manufacturers list I can't find it. It was a hard style with slide outs on each side which cleared room for the bed in the middle when the slide outs were open...
Who has run the eastern portion of the OAT? Looking at planning a trip and picking it up at Salina and running to I-35 just north of Ardmore and then headed home to OKC. Figured the wife and I would drive to NE Tulsa the night she got off and get a hotel, wake up on a Tuesday morning and head...
