Just got back from 5 weeks on Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast

I have a Pioneer unit that runs Android Auto and Gaia GPS works on it. Need a bigger screen though!! Looking for one of those huge 10" screens with good brightness.

I think you are probably right on that point; most EVs are not designed/built for "overlanding", but my reflection is I believe our love of nature and the escape to it is what drew us to overland, not the type of vehicle you brought. Over time, EV design will be improved, if demand is there.

Lets remember that it is the "Overland" that caught our interest, not the vehicle that got you there. Electric or Gas, all should be a go!

I agree. I bought the overlander last year. I like the ruggedness and the ram mount with charging function. I use the street driving directions portion and appreciate the "upcoming gas and lodging" parts of the driving directions but the "explore" software and map syncing is clunky. I find...
