I have the Camp Chef Everest, specifically the MS2HP so I can hook it up to a tank instead of the little 1 gallon green canisters. Their site says they are sold out. Anyone have this unit, or similar and have a suggestion for a hose?
Thank you!
I am not familiar with Bulldog Canyon. I'll have to check it out. Nothing to crazy is it? Will be using my dad's truck, stock Silverado Ext Cab 4x4 with standard bars on it.
Heard of Wave and Wind caves, just never done it.
Thanks
Side question......more activity beyond overlanding.
This Christmas (well just after Christmas through New Years) it's back to Arizona for Family Christmas and Adventures. Sister lives in Mesa. My youngest daughter and I will be staying with my dad in Apache Jct (out near were 60 turns...
Way to hot and icky to do any camping in Michigan during the summer. Plus way to many people out there. Looking forward to Fall and Spring for some camping as well.
Depends how I am feeling.........most times steak, onion, peppers over the fire or on occassion some sort of chicken sausage and just simple old packaged mashed taters (just add water). Since it's just me by myself, I usually do all the prep work at camp......keeps my mind occupied rather than...
Marked three primative camps in red, with the approx two track in locations. No fee for any of these, just first come first serve.
Condon Lake (the one in my earlier post, and in the pics) is just West of Bitley. Nice little lake with nothing but the camp on it. Easy to walk around it. North...
Last truck I used a K&N but that was probably an early 2000's K&N. Hear lots of bad things about the K&N allowing too much in. So I've switched to only paper. Hear the Napa Gold Filters were pretty good......trying that one now.
Granted I am just talking about my crappy standard tires that came with the Silverado and not the ones in discussion, but if I roll into it any slower I'll be going backwards.
Interesting read so far. New tire time is coming up for the Silverado. The "ALL TERRAIN" they come stock with are awful. Drop of rain and you can't accelerate without spinning. Was thinking of KO2's but now........hmmm. Not doing crazy mudding with my truck, but hate having my drive plowed...
Trail Boss......the better looking of the new model line. Plus with the Trail Bosses the grill is black.............helping to minimize the gawd awful grill (IMO).

I've been through several bags over the last decade or so. From big to small. Backpack to Sling style to Messenger style. I've sold them all off except two. Think Tank Trifecta (no longer made), a backpack style, opens from the back, configurable, but not a lot of room for extras, say on a...
Check with Lumber Yards, not the box stores. 5x5 I'm guessing he is using Baltic Birch. More stable, stronger as it has more layers. Baltic Birch is the only plywood I've ever seen in 5x5. The lumber yard here is now also carrying 4x8 Baltic Birch. Woodworkers use it all the time in shop...
