I am between a cap with a rack over it, or an open rack. Either way it will be made easily removable as I use my bed to its fullest extent. I also have a forklift, so fast removal isnt an issue. It is more of what I stumble across first because i am not blowing money on brand new stuff to beat up.
I know this is an older thread but hopefully you are still active. I am just curious how it has been working out for you.
I just missed an awesome deal on a fiberglass utility bed but I am pretty set on going this route. Quite honestly I am a little surprised I havent seen more of these. They...
Now this is something I can get behind. [emoji23] I have a decent collection at home and have been wondering what I will do as I like beer and the whiskey. And my wife is a bartender so I feel obligated to travel prepared.
I like the way you think. [emoji481]
They are certainly heavy and wont work for everyone but I am able to justify them in multiple ways. We are in a full size truck so room isnt an issue and mileage already sucks. [emoji23] In the case one of the kids gets scared, I can lay with them. It will support our dog who likes to lay at our...
First 2 pictures are from costco's website that is linked. The second pic contains the roller bag in the bottom right picture. Everything else is what came with the $250 bundle I picked up in store.
Initial review of the Discobed XL portable bunk bundle from costco
I first saw these a couple years ago at cabelas and liked the design but not the price. ($400 base) At the time I wasnt really looking for cots and didnt realize the value. During our trip to costco last week I had to peruse the...
Hello, my name is Tom and I am new here [emoji1] We live in NW Ohio. I have always wanted to build an overland rig and now is the time. Just bought a 2015 ram 2500 aka Black Betty. The wife and I are looking forward to getting our 3 kids, 6 and under, outdoors and exploring.
Will be starting...
I have been debating on a couple of the 6 foot by 18" wide lifetime tables. I have had many of their products and they hold up to abuse. I am building my own bed rack and was gonna make a spot to slide them in right under the RTT. Would also provide a little more rain protection over the bed but...
I completely agree with you. I am guilty to some extent of the above. I have been a mechanic all of my life. I have always preferred fords, partly because they were my first couple vehicles. I always gave my brother crap for preferring chevys but it was just teasing. Him and I always gave...
[emoji16] I had a feeling this would come up. Keep in mind, I was simply agreeing based on my experiences. Those can vary drastically based on shooting style, years of experience and simple design characteristics. I have big hands therefore I shoot larger frame pistols better.
I will list what...
I will sum up this thread by saying I love guns. [emoji23]
As far as input, I always have my xdm 40 with me. It is my EDC gun. When traveling more than an hour from home I always grab my AR and ammo bag with 6 mags. Pretty standard 556 rifle. I want to get a keltec ksg for a couple reasons. I...
I bought a colt 1851 navy at an auction but have yet to shoot it. A little bit nervous as I have never shot this style of black powder before. I hunt with a muzzleloader every year but that is a lot different. Harder to screw up I'll say. [emoji16]
I do have a couple of the old kits hiding...
