DUDE! Is that an Mi-24P? Im totally in love. Last time I got to play around with a hind was at WTI in Yuma, AZ. I apologize for geeking out on the Fire Safety thread, but @HeliSniper your speaking my language, don't be surprised if I PM you now.
Getting back to the topic, I found another...
Completely agree that folks should do their homework before selecting a fire extinguisher depending on their application. I also am far from an expert on this and am glad we have so many knowledgeable folks here on the forums to give their advice. Keep it coming. Theres only one goal, putting...
For question 1) I would recommend what works for you. The best fire extinguisher is the one that you are familiar with, have readily available, and can access quickly. That being said, I do prefer a Halon based agent for the engine bay that is around 5lbs or more. H3R ( Auto Fire Extinguishers |...
I would not worry about normal temps too much. It would require an extreame spike in temp to have an extinguisher fail and leak. The ones i use at work are halon and will safely discharge if they get too hot thus over pressurize.

HI ALL! My names Brian and I just got back into offroading. I cashed in my midlife-crises points with the wife and she signed off on a 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2. I plan on using it for family camping trips and taking my young kids out to see nature as much as possible. I hope to attend some meets...
Love the principles. Especially the part of leaving it better than we found it. I saw a TV series on the History called "Alaskan Offroaders" and in the first episode one of the guys starts trash the trail. Fortunately someone called him on it. I hope to crawl gently and explore softly. Keep up...
Nice. Looks like he's driving the diesel like me. That thing has a great low end torque. Looks like hes not using the front lockers with how the tires are turning. I love your rig by the way. Keep up the additions. The Z71 has a lot of great options that don't come with the ZR2. Have you thought...
