Allow me to bring this thread back from the dead! How much dispersed camping is there along the route? The BDR website only lists campgrounds and we would rather not stay in campgrounds every night.
Here is the GPX data from the trail. I have a couple pics I'll try to post tomorrow as well. Let me know if this doesn't work. The app wouldn't let me upload it as an attachment.
I think this is the first time I've seen some of the pics from before you bought it. Makes me want to start a build thread, but I don't have enough to write about yet.
I used to have an old Isuzu Trooper, and the Isuzu forum would have an annual meet up weekend at Uwharrie. It was nice. There's plenty to do, and the camp site facilities are great.
I suppose I should follow Retinens803's example and read! haha
What are your thoughts on meet-ups? Being new to the Overland community I think meet ups would be a fantastic way to meet everyone and grow our collective knowledge base.

I'm looking to do a Friday-Sunday trip, preferably in western NC. From what I've seen/done there are plenty of afternoon trails or one day trails. I'm wondering if anyone knows a good long trail system that would make a good weekend trip.
I would say up to moderate difficulty, with good views...
Hey everyone! I'm Jesse, I'm in Charlotte NC. I'm new to Overland, but not off-roading. My rig is a 2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road trail limo (double cab long bed). I'm looking forward to taking in all you have to teach and getting to know you guys. Thanks!
