That overhead mount is a good idea so you can’t keep it away from any water that may get into your vehicle. That has always been my concern with the under the seat mounting. How about the new Jeep Gladiator? I saw it at the LA Auto Show and I fell in love. The only issue is the bed is a bit shallow, since you mentioned you will actually use it.
