I traded in my 16 Cherokee Trailhawk for a 17 Jeep JK Rubicon about a month ago and couldn't be happier. I did like my TrailHawk, but I've always wanted a Wrangler and one popped up at a local car lot with 10K miles and I jumped on it.
So far I have only done a few interior mods and I think...
Your right I shouldn't, however I have also burned through enough danners and rockys that when I spend my own cash I want to know I'm getting something quality.
For me and the family it was the Coleman instant tent

I can set it up by myself so the wife and kids can do other things, and for the past 10 years it's actually preformed really well...
Not counting vehicle purchases for obvious reasons. What single piece of kit made the biggest difference or improvement to your overlanding experience?
If you want a stove that runs on multi-use fuel. The Coleman white gas stoves will also run on unleaded gasoline. It requires a little more maintenance because its not as clean as white gas, but what I do is throw a little fuel injector cleaner with every tank of gas.
I want one but both of the sites they are offered on don't ship to Canada, I'll have to wait until another vendor picks them up or another option is released that is just as good.
Really nice build. I'm driving a 16 Trailhawk also and in the market for some new tires. Do you have a lift? I'm thinking about going the same tire size, no lift here though.
