Ended up with this Yukon a few weeks ago, just went camping in it last night.

She cranked on starter fluid today, sounds healthy. Over the weekend I’m going to hook it up to a gas can and see what she does.

Luckily an older coworker of mine got it running a couple of years ago and sent me a video. That’s how I knew about it l. Now… who knows!

Got it towed today, it’s a 93 XLT Ranger Super Camper Special. 390 Auto. Tomorrow it’s getting a pressure wash and a De-Wasping.

The 74 ended up being an electrical cluster then burnt a valve… clean slate.

Bought a clean as fuck 73 Super camper with a 390 Auto that actually has the door on the side…

So… I sold the 74 super camper

Well I narrowed the issue down to one of the wires in the harness for the alternator and voltage regulator so I’m using this as an opportunity to upgrade from the 1G alternator to a 3G alternator and get more amps for more accessories as well.

It is. I have someone coming to look at it tomorrow but I can still give Information about it.

It’s a shame we can’t post Videos, but as of Friday she came back to life! Still having an issue with the alternator not charging even after replacement of alt and voltage regulator.

UPDATE: removed for sale

Update: Engine has a new oil pump and timing chain but now I don’t have power to the cab. It’s an adventure nonetheless getting this thing back together after a year.

Nobody really has a need for an old truck, it’s preservation at this point. That example is beautiful though. Even has the door very the spare!
