They are all in MN. That’s what happened to them.

I would be looking in national forests instead of parks. Here, you’ll find many more serious over landing opportunities. I am in the northern country, Minnesota, so for me Superior national forest is where it’s at, along with many of the state forests.

I am biased...but I have six kids and do significant off-roading with the Sequoia. Very capable!

It’s the Gobi roof rack and uses the standard rack mounts on the roof. It was about a two hour install by myself.

Added the iPad mount as well. Good combo between the inreach and iPad.

I use my inreach explorer with my wifi iPad. I use both Earthmate and MotionX gps for nav. This combo is amazing. The SOS is important when I'm in Northern Mn in Superior National forest. No cell coverage. Also my wife likes the 2 way texting. I wouldn't spend the extra money for the Garmin...

I would be out driving and camping, but the MN DNR has closed all roads and trails in every state forest in the state due to warm, soft conditions...bummed. So, I'll be sitting on here all weekend.

I have a stock 2008 Sequoia that comes with 10" of clearance from Toyota. I have never had any issues, and I don't have the superior entry and exit angles of the 4Runner...so with that said, the 4Runner would be a great pick.

Satellite Communications.

Last thing I bought was a satellite communicator for when I'm overlanding by myself in Superior National Forest in MN. Keeps the family happy. Next purchase will be a front hidden winch this summer.

My 2008 Sequoia gets 15 on highway loaded with the roof rack and lights causing drag. Around town I'll see 12.5 loaded. With six kids, it's always loaded!

Added 4 new lights to the roof rack. Install looks like factory. Wire hidden on right side of windshield. Switch looks like factory as well. This is on my 2008 Sequoia.
