We have been using an Exped Megamat Duo in our Tepui Autana. Although it is still an inflatable, it lets us sleep amazingly well!

We just did a Toytec 3" lift with 285/70/17 Duratracs. Also picked up an Oztent just before Christmas. I made some mounts to bolt on a flat Baja Rack (for a campershell), made a rack to be able to bolt on 2 5 gallon Scepter fuel cans, and added a footman loop in the back to strap down the...
Maybe you could try using some all thread instead of bolts. That way you could elevate them just at the top edge of the rack in the same orientation.

I also got the tool box with my Gobi (on my FJ60) that came late. The box is nice, but ultimately took it back off for 2 reasons. 1 it would not be useable with my rtt, and 2 I found that even after the weather strip. As for the Maxtrax, here is a pic of mine mom noted just like you said. I did...

Trasharoo's are great, however they don't really lest the "trash juices" dry out. Rather they bake and stink in the sun. The onion bags let the juices drain, and dry, thus avoiding the stink, however aren't super sturdy. I have been using the trail sac from spiderweb shade, and love them...
The perfect vintage overland rig! I've got too many vehicles going on right now, so this one is on the chopping block. Located in Reno Nv.

Nice vid! That must have been early in the season. We were up there 2 weeks ago and it is dry as a bone. There was a 2 day old Subaru Outback that had come into camp from Sardine lake, and they decided they weren't going back the way they came! They must've made it, cause there was no sign of...
New to this forum, but not new to wheeling or camping! Here is a pick of my current rig. it has minimal lift with 33" ko1's, locked front and rear. Also has a Gobi stealth rack, as well as a Tepui RTT that gets swapped between the cruiser, Tacoma, and trailer.
