I agree! To me, it's like a Tacoma on steroids. When it comes time to replace my current Tundra, I will probably get another 1st gen. The new Tundras are too big and just not for my liking. I am kinda jealous of my wife's 07 FJ though...

I am just getting into the overland scene myself, but when weight is not really an issue, I always go with my cast iron. I drove from Washington to Colorado and set the back of my truck up to sleep in. I cooked on the tailgate some pretty good meals using my cast iron fry pan.

Here's my 2003 Tundra. Nothing too much done to it yet. This is an older picture that I found on my computer. I am away from home until later this month. Once I do return, I'll be able to get some better pictures.
