great info @fjk! there was some pretty wicked blow down on the route a few weeks ago. id imagine some of the less traveled routes still need some clearing.

Sounds like a great trip @PCO6! I’d love to try an run the section south of the 518. I keep hearing conflicting reports of the passability to Rosseau, I’ve seen a few videos from the dual sport guys, it looked pretty tight.

Aside form the bridge and the southern most section towards rosseau everything won’t be a problem for you.

im using a yuneece q500. Havn't used it yet this summer, i unfortunatly i left both my batteries in my truck overnight when camping in -30deg weather...their toast.

the old nipissing road is pretty tame, the majority of the route is a 2 lane gravel road. the optional section of the forgotten trails system is pretty much the only spot where there would be low spots with standing water and or mud.

I’d expect the “forgotten trails” section to be a bit wet in the springtime. The only water I encountered was just after passing Jerusalem RD on the other side of the bridge I could cross. It wasn’t much and there’s a hard bottom, even a stock truck wouldn’t have any problems. @jz8ty makin...
